Our founders

Kaihautū l CEO (TAINUI , NGĀTI PĀOA)

Michele enjoys being a māmā, sailing, yoga and connecting to te taiao through rongoa māori. She met a connection with maramataka as a response to feeling burnt out from becoming a newly single mum whilst launching a brand new business and running a rongoa company. Through tracking her cycle with the cycles of the moon she found she had very evident patterns and began shaping her life around them to find a feeling of balance. She now lives in this way to the best of her ability and it is something she wishes to implement in the lives of her tamariki and wāhine worldwide.

Pou Manawataki l COO (NGĀTI AWA)

Samantha enjoys all things that bring her closer to mauri tua - a state of mindfulness. This includes things like hiking, yoga, meditation, cold water immersion and bouldering. She created her personal relationship with the maramataka on the journey to healing her menstrual cycle and hormones. She began tracking her cycle alongside the moon and when she was experiencing pms/pain and was shocked to find that she was experiencing pain after specific prolonged activities and in certain moon phases. She now has the knowledge to optimise her life by her rhythms.
